World's first underwater cabinet meeting

The lowest-lying nation on Earth, the Maldives, highlighted the threat of global warming by holding an underwater cabinet meeting on Oct. 17, 2009.

The Cabinet signed a document calling on all countries to cut down their carbon emissions ahead of the U.N. Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen in December.
