Gangtok, 11th September: The two days long Assembly which started yesterday concluded today with the passing of one new bill and three amendment bills.

Sikkim Rolep Hydro Electric Power Project (Transfer and Vesting of Land) Bill, Bill no. 6 of 2012 which was introduced by the Minister for Energy and Power Department on 10th September, 2012 was passed by the house unanimously, today. In the same manner the house also unanimously passed the Sikkim Lokayukta (Amendment) Bill, Bill no. 7 of 2012; Sikkim Legislative Assembly Members (Payment of Pension) Amendment Bill, Bill No. 10 of 2012 and Sikkim Ministers, Speaker, Deputy Speaker and Member of Legislative Assembly (Salaries and Allowances) Amendment Bill, Bill no. 11 of 2012. All the bills were introduced in the house on 10th September, 2012.
The Leader of the House and the Chief Minister of Sikkim thanked everyone for their contribution in the smooth functioning of the two days session of the house.
The House was adjourned Sine-die by the Speaker of the House after his vote of thanks.
