Project implementation committee formed for construction of 500 bedded hospital at Deorali

GANGTOK, July 10: A project implementation committee headed by the State health minister DN Takarpa has been constituted by the State government for construction of 500 bedded hospital at Deorali near State Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services complex.
The other members of this committee are the Financial Commissioner, Planning Principal Secretary, Forest Secretary, Urban Development Secretary, Food & Civil Supplies Secretary, Buildings & Housing Secretary, Roads & Bridges Secretary, PHE secretary, Land Revenue Secretary, Mines & Geology Secretary and concerned District Collector.
The State Health Secretary V Pathak is the member secretary of this committee that has been mandated to formulate concrete proposal on the project after scrutinizing all details relating to technicality, specifications, suitability of land for project, pattern of funding, detail project report etc.
The project implementation committee has also been tasked to put up the project proposal within the 100 days of the assumption of the office of the new government and they shall also be responsible for continuous monitoring and supervision of the project till completion.
The project is scheduled to be completed within the next 36 months.
