The book endeavours to explore not only the basic science and biology of various kinds of stem cells and also explores extensively its applicatory aspects, especially the vital use of these unique cells in the rapidly evolving branch of transplantation and regenerative medicine. The use of novel stem cell based therapies in therapeutic regimens ranging from stem cell banking to therapy for curing diseases such as cancer, diabetes, heart diseases, etc. are also discussed.
