Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee says, National Tax Headquarters -Rajaswa Bhawan - is being set up Delhi. It will come up on a 5.65 acre-plot at Kasturba Gandhi Marg in the next 24 to 30 months.
Mukherjee was giving away prizes to the successful architects in the National Architectural Design Competition for Rajaswa Bhawan.
Mukherjee appreciated the Revenue Department for exceeding the revised targets of direct and indirect tax collections for fiscal year 2010-11. The actual tax collections stood at 7 Lakh 92 thousand crore rupees, 47000 crore rupees more than the revised estimates in the last fiscal.
