India: Market Access Initiative scheme by Govt.of India

The Market Access Initiative (MAI) scheme was launched in 2003 to act as a catalyst to promote India’s export on sustained basis. The scheme is formulated on Focus Product – Focus Country approach to evolve specific strategy for specific markets and specific products.

Under the scheme, project-based assistance is provided to Export Promotion Councils, Trade Promotion Organizations, Apex Chambers of Commerce, etc.
