Shiva Thapa makes India proud with Silver Medal in Youth Olympics

A 16 years old boy who is determined to bring a boxing fever to country once again today bagged Silver in final of Youth Olympics in Singapore.Today’s narrow lose of 5-2 against the Cuban opponent and world’s no.1 boxer After he pummeled Zack Davis of England on Sunday enter the final at the Youth Olympics. Cuban boxer Ramirez Robeisy Eloy was many time on back foot from several attack made by 54 Kg Thapa. The losing of game is not a big issue but looking into enthusiasm of a boxer boy, he is all set to bring a big success story for country in coming time.
With the silver medal in hand Shiva gives country totalling of 8 medals tally in Youth Olympics with this one.
The teenage boxer who has just been signed on by Prakash Padukone and Geet Sethi’s Olympic Gold Quest foundation had recently won silver in the world youth championships.
