Age 22, youngest CEO of Radio Misty makes national record - Nishant Mittal
24 Aug, Gangtok: Radio Misty Chief Executive Officer Nishant Mittal has set a National Record as youngest Radio Chief Executive officer of country. India Book of Records has confirmed this record and sent a certificate on this achievement.
Radio Misty with the motto of local station local people local voice local choice has deep connect with listeners. Nishant Mittal devopled a unique idea to make this station for all age group from 10 to 80 and this innovation have successful. Radio Misty airs songs in five languages Hindi, Bengali, Nepali, English and Bhojpuri. He was also awarded with many awards in recongination for his efforts to make Radio an innovative medium to connect people.
An alumnus of Manchester School of Business Nishant Mittal took over as Chief Executive Officer of Radio Misty on 14th November 2007 at the age of 22 Years. He has also been elected as Vice President of Association of Radio Operators for India (AROI), the National Body of Radio Operators in Country. He has been regularly writing on different issues in Newspapers and magazines across the country.
Under his leadership Radio Misty established stations at Siliguri in West Bengal and Gangtok in Sikkim. Nishant have made Radio Misty a household name in North Bengal and Sikkim. Radio Misty is a part of the PCM Group, one of the largest groups of Eastern India. Radio Misty is the first and Number one fm station of the region. With BBC and Radio Netherlands worldwide as partners Radio Misty is known for its Innovative programming in Country. Radio Misty is well known name in this region with its innovative on air and Ground activities. Radio Misty has won many awards for its csr activities.
