NFR signs MoU for BG line in Sikkim
GUWAHATI, May 9 – An MoU was signed between the IRCON and the NF Railway Construction Organisation on Friday at GM/Con headquarters, Maligaon regarding construction of 44.39 km long Sivok-Rangpo new BG line project in Sikkim. Foundation stone for this Rs 1339.48 crore project was laid by the Hon’ble Vice President of India, Md Hamid Ansari and Hon’ble Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee on October 30, 2009 at Rangpo and Sivok respectively.
On behalf of the NF Railway Construction Organisation, Radhey Shyam, Chief Administrative Officer, in presence of Shiv Kumar, General Manager, signed the MoU. On behalf of IRCON, the MoU was signed by Deepak Sabhlok, Director, Project in presence of Mohan Tiwari, Managing Director and KK Gupta, General Manager. This was informed in a press release.
